The story
Chef Terrence Herrera
Terry packed parachutes for the Marine Corps and deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. Culinary school in California came after the service, then home to Kansas City, where he and his wife Alyssa put this truck on the road with Let's Chow, the Robert Irvine Foundation's food truck program. Off the clock the flat top cooks for food pantries, soup kitchens and church programs.
